POSITION: INBOUND CONTROLLER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To approve, coordinate and track shipments from the far Middle East and South Africa local to the Durban Distribution Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate end-to-end imports shipment process Check and receive imports and local shipment documents Coordinate the approval of import shipments & SA local shipments Record and expedite discrepancies Track and monitor import & SA local shipments Coordinate the booking of examinations for import shipments Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders Generate and update reports (daily, weekly and monthly) Share knowledge and best practices in functional area Adhoc and projects
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 Relevant Imports/Exports/Supply Chain/Logistics qualification (advantage) 2+ years' experience in Imports / Exports environment Strong administration skills Basic knowledge of customs regulations (ideal) Computer literacy:Intermediate (G- suite) SA Citizen
