Job Description
Requirements:
- Wheel Alignment Qualification / Trade Test
- Hunter Wheel Alignment Machine experience required
- Experience working with motor vehicles and good mechanical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Drivers license
- Clear criminal record
- Perform wheel alignments on vehicles utilising the Hunter wheel alignment machine
- Check, adjust, balance and align steering and suspension on vehicles for optimum road handling.
- Drive vehicle onto hoists or jacks in preparation for removing wheels from vehicles for fitting new tyre to wheel.
- Remove customer vehicle tyres, changing tyres or repairing tyre punctures and tubes using rattle gun and/or die grinder as required.
- Test-drive customer vehicles to diagnose problems and problem solve.
- Perform any general maintenance of machinery in the workshop such as the calibrating wheel alignment machine and balance machine, and fixing minor faults in balancer or repairing threaded wheel nuts.
