Formal Tertiary education: Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree/National Diploma (or studying towards) in Human Resources

Experience:
No more than 12 monthsxe2x80x99 previous HR experience advantageous but not essential
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Basic knowledge of labour legislation
Job Objectives:
The HR Intern will be required to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR departmentxe2x80x99s daily activities in order to achieve the departmentxe2x80x99s KPIxe2x80x99s
The HR Intern will gain exposure to the entire employment life cycle including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, labour relations, compensation and benefits and employee wellness.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist with Administrative tasks related to recruitment and selection process.
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
Gather payroll data like leave information, timesheets and deductions.
Timekeeping and overtime administration
Bi-annual medical aid membership audits
Assist with administration of new joiners and leavers
Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment documents
Set up meetings with service providers for new joiners / Schedule site visits
Schedule information sessions
Preparing new employee documentation
Updating employee files with necessary documents
Assist with exits i.e., UI19s, certificate of service etc.
Relief Receptionist
Participate in organizing company events and careers days
Assist with organogram updates
Any other duties, as assigned by the HR Manager or HR Officer, in line with the role.
