Salary / CTC R300 000 xe2x80x93 R325 000 p.a. (R 25 000 - R 27 000 per month)

The HR Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and ensuring efficient HR operations. This includes maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, managing employee benefits, and handling various HR-related tasks. The HR Administrator works closely with HR staff, management, and employees to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

HR Administration Duties will include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Update and maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), including personal information, employment history, benefits, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate job postings, review resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, and assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Assist employees with benefit inquiries and resolve related issues.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in various HR initiatives, such as performance management, training and development programs, employee engagement activities, and policy development.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Schedule and coordinate HR-related meetings, training sessions, and events. Prepare meeting materials and take minutes when necessary.
  • Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR processes and practices are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist with Employment Equity administration and preparation for Submission by the HR Consultants. Keep track of deadlines for submissions.
  • Assist with Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR) administration and preparation for submission by the Skills Development Facilitator (SDF). Keep track of deadlines for submissions.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Prepare and analyse HR data and reports, such as headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations based on the data.
  • Assisting HR Manager with reviewing and / or drafting of company policies and procedures, also ensuring that they are in accordance with Labour Legislation.
  • Manage the drafting and record keeping of all job profiles, under guidance of HR Manager.
  • Assisting with administration of performance appraisals as required.
  • Assisting with personnel filing system - ensure all records are kept and up to date.
  • Assisting, where necessary, with record keeping of staff training.
  • Assisting with drafting and maintaining of Organograms.
  • Assisting with Ad-hoc HR projects & processes.
  • Assistant to HR Manager / Company Secretary
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Grade 12 (B.Com. degree will be advantageous, but not a requirement)
  • 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in field of HR Administration
  • 3 + Years Employment Equity Experience
  • 3 + Years WSP and ATR Experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Afrikaans & English

  • Must be willing to work at other locations as required from time to time (Midstream, Sites at Immerpan, Witbank, etc.)
Reporting Manager:

The HR Administrator will report to the Company Secretary (who is also the HR Manager)
