Human Resources Coordinator - HOSPITALITY SECTOR

DOHA- Qatar (Middle East)

Starting Date: A.S.A.P (Visa pending)

Contract: Open

Reports to: HR Manager

Package Potential:

Job Overview:

To assist in the administration of the Human Resources function ensuring its overall efficiency and effectiveness within the Hotel.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * A background in 5 star hotels and or luxury resorts
  • At least ONE full year HR experience in hospitality
  • Internationally recognized tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (Diploma/Degree) or related field (BA Psychology etc.)
  • Good all round knowledge of Human Resource functions and administration
  • Able to design, structure and implement new Human Resources SOP's
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Good understanding of multi-cultural environments
DUTIES & SCOPE OF THE JOB:
  • Assist in the management of the recruitment process as per Company Standard to ensure vacancies are filled in a timely manner and with the most suitable candidate.
  • Coordinate candidate arrivals to ensure all new joiners are integrated smoothly in the team.
  • Conduct the Human Resources Orientation for new joiners to ensure they are familiar with the company policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Manage the leave administration to ensure accurate record keeping and have Employees avail their leave entitlements smoothly.
  • Maintain up to date Employee files to ensure efficiency and compliance with Company Human Resources Standards.
  • Assist in the administration of Employee exit procedures to ensure leavers receive their final dues as per the Country labor laws.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
In essence: Additional to the above-mentioned requirements an Employee will at times be expected to perform tasks and duties outside of his/her scope of work as necessitated by work demand.
