Human Resources Administrator PA/Admin ~ HR
Cape Town - Western Cape

Our client, a well-known South African listed company, is looking for a Human Resources Administrator for their Cape Town division, to provide administrative support to the HR & Payroll team across all divisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Human Resources or similar
  • 3 years' experience in administration
  • Strong organisational skills & ability to prioritise
  • Excellent administration skills & meticulous attention to detail
  • Good communication & coordination skills
  • Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality & work collaboratively
  • Ability to work under pressure & good time management
  • Computer literate
  • Willingness & can-do attitude
Key Performance Areas:
  • Recruitment & Selection: Administering the full administrative process, preparing job adverts, advertising on various portals, shortlists, arranging interviews, conducting checks, references & feedback
  • Payroll & Benefits: Collecting & ensuring accuracy of employee information for payroll purposes & filing, & be responsible for employee files. Liaising with third-party service providers on all employee benefit processing & claims. Payroll support by preparing & collecting documents relating to payroll input.
  • Learning & Development: Sourcing, booking, & arranging training and maintaining all training records, registers, invoices, & certificates. Including liaising with employees to ensure a smooth process.
  • Administrative Process: Ensure all administrative processes relating to employment are in line with business practices by ensuring accurate & proper record-keeping of employees information
  • Onboarding & Offboarding of Employees: Collecting & filing all the required documents to ensure a smooth process, from prepping induction packs & new employee documents to exit interviews & return of company property
  • Organise & Maintain Employee Records Electronically: Loading new employees, loading & managing data, updating any changes for existing employees into the HR system
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Assisting with preparation for hearings, bundles, & documents and ensuring requirements are in place for DOL inspections.
  • Prepare Various HR Documents: Assist with compiling required documents, letters, packs, & all related requirements.
  • Audits: Source, provide, & upload documents required during audits
  • Employee Queries & Requests: Liaise with & assist employees with HR related requests
  • Administrative Support & Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with arranging socials, employee wellness, & HR projects
