Key Deliverables
  • Responsible for the management of Mnandi Braais human resource department
  • Manage all employee records and ensure strict confidentiality
  • Consolidate and submit records for monthly payroll
  • Investigate best practices on staff wellness and advice the company on applicable programs for implementation
  • Manage the recruitment of new staff where required
  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process for all incoming employees
  • Induct all incoming employees on the Companys policies and procedures
  • Train, counsel and coach staff
  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation
  • Carry out necessary administrative duties
  • Conduct performance and wage reviews
  • Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance
  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary and other related hearings
  • Conduct all internal disciplinary hearings as may be required from time to time
  • Maintain employee and workplace privacy
  • Continuously develop and maintain an updated staff training needs analysis
  • Oversee the management of all leave applications and accurate record-keeping
  • Build on the current internal protocols and ensure continuous improvement and evaluation ensuring that all employees adhere to the Groups mission and goals
  • Receive and resolve all employee grievances
  • Build and encourage teamwork amongst all staff members
  • Oversee the enforcement and ensure adherence to all company policies
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Provide constant evaluation of all employees performance
  • Compile comprehensive monthly reports and submit to your Line Manager
  • Attend to all other reasonable instructions as may be issued by your line manager
  • Act as a central contact point for all labour relation stakeholders such as CCMA, Organised Labour, Labour Brokers etc
  • Represent the Company at all CCMA hearings and consultations and maintain accurate records
  • Defend the companys rights at all CCMA hearings
