Job description/responsibilities:

  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance.
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals.
  • Evaluate training programs.
  • Suggest new HR strategies.
Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or any higher qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a Human Resources related role.

Skills:
  • Must have exceptional computer literacy.
  • Extensive union management experience
  • Strong in IR/ER.
  • Excellent in interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management.
  • Exposure to budgets an added advantage.
  • CCMA/Any Bargaining Council Experience (Conciliation/Arbitrations).
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Analytical and goal oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Thorough knowledge of labour legislation.
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
