What will you do?

Job Purpose:

This role is accountable for the execution of HR action plans for a large business unit, in support of business /divisional plans and in alignment with HR Governances. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through others.

Output/Core Tasks:

  • Manages recruitment and appointment process for an allocated business area
  • Facilitate and support management with human capital management process
  • Facilitates HR calendar activities such as annual reviews, bonuses, performance management & development, e.tc.
  • Execute business unit HR actions
  • Aligns business unit HR needs to the broader HR strategy
  • Measures and tracks progress against objectives set
  • Provide a HR change management capability for the business
  • Facilitate and support the business in the management of HR risks
  • Serve as an HR intermediary between business, Centre of Excellence, and our HR support Services
  • Guides and Advises staff and line management regarding HR policies and practices
  • Manage the HR stream of business related projects
  • Facilitate and execute transformational plans
  • Monitors and influences cultural diversity
  • Ensures targets are met
Role Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Post Degree qualification in Human Resource Management
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices
  • Knowledge of SAP HR system
  • Knowledge of legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA & FSC)
  • OD Methodology
Experience:
  • At least 6 years HR Practitioner/Generalist experience
  • Experience as a HR Manager would be advantageous
