Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Hub Manager based in Kroonstad.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- A higher relevant qualification would be advantageous.
- Basic financial knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans.
- Valid driver's license and own transport.
- 5+ years relevant Grain Industry experience and knowledge in:
- Negotiation.
- Risk.
- Strategies.
- Price management.
- Knowledge of Silos.
- Have and understanding of agriculture.
- Marketing of specific delivery points.
- Purchasing of grain- marketing and hedging.
- Conduct risk management of contracts with producers.
- Elaborate purchasing strategies for producers.
- Prepare, maintain and expand complete farm loading prospects.
- Arrange and attend farmers' days and information sessions.
- Provide market information, market prices and trends to producers.
- Perform ad hoc duties.
