Matric, Bachelors degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology
Coaching, Mentoring / Skills Development Diploma, Course or Certificate advantageous
Min 6 years work experience in a relevant human resources or skills development post
Previous exposure in a Training and Development Team would advantageous
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Skills development experience essential
Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees
Strong business acumen (understanding of business, performance drivers and direction)
Proven track record in a middle to senior HR role which covers the implementation and maintenance of Human Capital skills and training plans
Proficiency in MS office, Word, Visio and advanced Excel and PowerPoint is a must
English (Read, write, and speak) Any other languages advantageous
DUTIES
Legislation and Administration:
Assist the Team with company compliance and existing governmental and legal reporting requirements - Employment Equity Act (EEA), Skills Development Act (SDA), Department of Labour and Employment, Labour Relations Act (LRA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
Responsible for management and administration of skills development, 360 planning, 360 monitoring, 360 reviews and succession planning
Ensure that Line Managers have regular and productive meetings with their Teams about any possible development, training succession areas
Skills Development, Guidance Management and Training.
Assisting with hiring & recruitment from interview stage up to offer stage when needed
Participate / assist in the development of job descriptions and job grading
Assist to develop and ensure the execution of companys on-boarding program for full time employees to ensure quick staff engagement & employee satisfaction
Presenting qualitative and quantitative information on the status of skills development initiatives, strengths, weaknesses, and current interventions and make recommendations to support skills development
Maintaining and updating information with respect to training needs and training attended
Maintain communications with Marketing with development events / resources
Make recommendations for modification to training programs, as needed
Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of company
Responsible for bursary and study assistance agreements
Identify & secure professional development opportunities to support the talent and leadership development of all the teams
Responsible for implementation, coordination and management of team building initiatives and events
Responsible for succession planning and identifying the critical positions within company by developing action plans for individuals to assume those positions
Responsible for the policy formulation and implementation of Skills Development to ensure it is sound, fair, and relevant to the industry norms
Responsible for the development, implementation, communication, and monitoring of the Skills Development Plan for company
Skills and Development Partner will ensure that all PDPs (Personal Development Plans) are in place, implemented and monitored by all Heads of Teams and Line Managers
Responsible for initiatives, metrics, activities for organisational design and development
Responsible for the completion of the EEA2 and EEA4 forms with regards to EE
Update and ensure we are maintaining compliance with our affirmative action obligations and monitor our barriers and measures in our EE Plan with the Human Capital Team
Provide administrative assistance with the implementation systems
Assist with the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of company BBBEE scorecard if the need arises
