HR & Accounts Administrator - Construction
Bellville, Cape Town
Salary: R17 000 basic (negotiable based on experience)
A small, established construction company based in Bellville is seeking an experienced Administrator to assist with HR and accounts functions. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the demands of the construction industry and can handle a variety of duties across finance, HR, and general administration.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in the construction industry is essential
Strong working knowledge of creditors and debtors
Familiarity with BIBC submissions and subcontractor contracts
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet monthly deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile supplier invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders
Capture stock, fuel, and credit card transactions
Match and authorize invoices for payment and prepare supplier recons
Handle creditor queries and maintain accurate records of supplier accounts
Generate debtor invoices and follow up on collections
Perform monthly reconciliations for creditors, material cost reports, and accrual accounts
Prepare employee time allocations and reconcile wage loans
Submit BIBC documentation and manage subcontractor contracts
Assist with general admin duties, filing, and switchboard relief
Ensure month-end deadlines are met for all invoicing and reporting
