Welcome and seat guests in the dining or bar areas.
Manage reservations and maintain an accurate seating plan.
Provide menus and introduce guests to their waiter/waitress.
Greet guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
Coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Keep the hostess desk organised, clean, and professional.
Offer special assistance to guests when needed (e.g., elderly or families).
Answer incoming calls and assist with guest enquiries.
Support the service team when required.
Grade 12; a hospitality qualification is an advantage.
1-2 years' experience as a hostess in a restaurant or hotel environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional, friendly, and confident when dealing with guests.
Well-presented and able to remain calm under pressure.
Team player with strong organisational skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Comfortable interacting with high-profile clientele.
