Job Summary Monkey Thorn Lodge & Wellness Spa, White River is looking for a Hospitality assistant to join the team when we re-open in September after our refurbishment. Hospitality Assistant. This position involves reception, restaurant, bar and hosting. We are a small lodge 9 suites, so the hospitality assistant must be versatile and be able to work in reception, checking in guests and deal with reservations and guests queries. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is the responsibility of the hospitality assistant to welcome and serve the guests, as well as serve drinks from the bar. Caring for the guests every need is paramount to this position from check in to check out, so excellent communication skills both verbally and written is required as well as a friendly welcoming personality. Shifts vary between 6.30am and 9.30pm. Three year similar experience is required in the hospitality industry. Non smoking and of good sober habits and two contactable references from previous employers must be supplied. The position is live out but there is a facility to sleep over on occasions.
