An exclusive luxury hospitality estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support their finance department with day-to-day operations, financial accuracy, and reporting.

Our client, a leading luxury estate set in the heart of the Cape Winelands, is offering an exceptional opportunity for a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager, ensuring accurate daily financial processing, including capturing cashbook entries, reconciling daily cash-ups, managing general ledgers, creditors, and debtors, and maintaining effective petty cash control. You'll also play a key role in supporting stock control and procurement administration across multiple departments.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 with a relevant financial diploma, certificate, or degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role (hospitality experience advantageous)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate with Pastel Evolution and Microsoft Office (EasiPos experience beneficial)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and administrative skills
- Highly organized, accountable, and an effective communicator
