Job Description

Our client, a leading luxury estate set in the heart of the Cape Winelands, is offering an exceptional opportunity for a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager, ensuring accurate daily financial processing, including capturing cashbook entries, reconciling daily cash-ups, managing general ledgers, creditors, and debtors, and maintaining effective petty cash control. You'll also play a key role in supporting stock control and procurement administration across multiple departments.

Grade 12 with a relevant financial diploma, certificate, or degree

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role (hospitality experience advantageous)

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Computer literate with Pastel Evolution and Microsoft Office (EasiPos experience beneficial)

Strong numerical, analytical, and administrative skills

Highly organized, accountable, and an effective communicator
