Head of Product Cape Town (Hybrid) Industry: FinTech A global fintech company specializes in investor onboarding for private markets, offering a comprehensive suite of services to streamline the investment process. This includes extensive KYC support, easing compliance with regulatory and tax obligations, and enhancing the overall investor experience. Their platform simplifies the fundraising process through pre-approval of investors across multiple funds and jurisdictions. Additionally, they provide MLRO/MLCO support and manage tax filing for FATCA-CRS, significantly reducing the administrative burden for fund managers. The Role The Head of Product reports into the Chief Technology Officer. The Head of Product in this Global Fintech company plays a pivotal role. You'll be at the forefront of shaping and implementing the company's product management strategy and vision. Your responsibilities include orchestrating a seamless collaboration among the product, design and development teams. As a central figure in fostering innovation and guiding the company's direction, you will be responsible for bringing the product vision to life through every stage of the product lifecycle. This high-impact role places you at the heart of the company's product development and execution strategy. Responsibilities:

• Execute the product strategy and vision.
• Develop the end-to-end product process from problem statement and business opportunity, through to build, measure and learn.
• Build a Product and Product Design function in the organisation and be the advocate for this throughout the business.
• Be a role model, creating a positive product culture, training, developing and leading a high performing product team.
• Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog.
• Partnering and engaging deeply with the engineering team to ensure feasibility of product features, defining and executing the roadmap through to resolution.
• Working closely with stakeholders at all levels to align on product direction.
• Hands-on Contribution: Willingness to dive into problem-solving and collaborate as needed across departments.
• Define, track, measure, and report on product metrics to derive actionable insights to drive continuous improvements.

• At least 5 years Product Management experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A user-centric mindset.
• Ability to align product strategy with business goals
• A track record of successfully developing and launching innovative, user-centred products.
• Understanding of the fintech market
• Scrum Product Owners certification would be beneficial
• Experience in agile methodologies.
• Lean UX
• Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
