Head Of Product Laboratory
Job Description
Job Summary We have a Position available for a Head of Product in the Hartbeespoort dam area. We are seeking a driven individual to join this dynamic group, responsible for all sites. The successful applicant will be responsible to ensure optimum utilization of all laboratory resources, to effect quality and timeous results to our customers. The individual will be instrumental in securing the technical competency and relevance within the company in the current and any new analytical fields, which may be envisaged as part of its strategy. The position reports to the CEO. To qualify for this position candidates require: A Bachelor's degree or National Higher Diploma in a relevant field such as Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines. Additional certification or training in laboratory management, operations, quality management, or related areas will receive preference. At least 6 years of experience as laboratory manager/ operations manager. - Proven track record of successfully managing an accredited, multi- discipline commercial laboratory/ group of laboratories. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication skills. Strong understanding of the broader agriculture and food industries to contribute to the company strategy. Proficiency in product management methodologies tools and processes.
