Job Description


Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years of working experience in an operations/fabrication/production environment
  • A minimum of 10 years experience leading a production team in a mid-size business
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and STRUMIS (Strumis can be trained)
  • Technical
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Ability to understand and implement technical specifications
  • Excellent understanding of production processes
  • Excellent understanding of key measurement and metrics which drive On Time, In Full, Always Safely.
  • Ability to analyse production and make improvements
  • Management
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Ability to coach team members in-house and in-field
  • In-depth understanding of managing and motivating a team
Key Accountabilities
  • Planning (Meeting delivery dates)
  • Production Management (Detailing, CNC, Fabrication, W&C, Dispatch)
  • Labour Budgets
  • Full delivery of Projects
  • SHEQ Management
  • STRUMIS Implementation
  • Continuous improvement
  • Quality Assurance
  • Maintenance and control of equipment
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Setting operational budgets aligned to sales targets
  • Staff Development/Training/Coaching
