Job Description

The Head of Operations and Finance for MAN Financial Services (SA) (RF) (Pty) Ltd is responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the business. This strategic role ensures robust financial planning, regulatory compliance, and streamlined operational processes to support sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, operational leadership, and industry experience in automotive finance or financial services.

Key Duties:

Financial Leadership


Develop and manage financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and reporting frameworks. Oversee financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring across the business. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions. Support pricing strategies and profitability analysis for vehicle finance products.

Operational Management


Lead operational strategy and execution across loan processing, customer service, collections, and dealer support. Drive process optimization, automation, and cost-efficiency initiatives. Ensure high service levels and operational excellence across all customer touchpoints. Oversee vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiations.

Risk & Compliance


Collaborate with credit, legal, and compliance teams to ensure operational and financial risk is effectively managed. Implement and monitor internal controls and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., NCR, FICA, POPIA).

Team Leadership


Build and lead high-performing teams across finance and operations functions. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

Strategic Collaboration


Work closely with Sales, Credit, IT, and Executive Leadership to align operational and financial goals. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level. Support digital transformation and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field CA(SA) or CIMA
