A growing and dynamic manufacturing company is looking for a Head of Manufacturing with a mechanical engineering background and a hands-on approach to leading high-precision, round-the-clock production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all manufacturing operations -- CNC, laser cutting, and related machining processes.
• Oversee 24/7 production schedules, managing shift teams to ensure consistent performance and output.
• Implement and monitor strict quality control systems to ensure all products meet required specifications.
• Procure raw materials and tools, and manage inventory to support uninterrupted operations.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for all production equipment and machinery.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
• Supervise and mentor a team of skilled machine operators, technicians, and support staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production with demand forecasts and delivery deadlines.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent technical qualification).
• 8+ years' experience in manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience in a machine shop environment -- CNC, laser cutting, fabrication, etc.
• Proven experience managing round-the-clock (24/7) operations and shift-based production teams.
• Solid understanding of quality control systems, production planning, and cost management.
• Familiarity with machinery maintenance planning, tooling procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Comfortable working in a high-paced, target-driven production environment.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building abilities.
