Job Summary
About the Role This senior leadership position sits at the intersection of actuarial science, product innovation, and client-focused structuring. The successful candidate will drive technical excellence in pricing, product development, and capital structuring, while partnering closely with marketing, underwriting, and other cross-functional teams to deliver bespoke, value-driven solutions.
You will be instrumental in steering strategy, governance, and innovation across multiple portfolios, ensuring competitive pricing and sound technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of actuarial professionals focused on non-life pricing and structuring initiatives.
• Design and refine pricing frameworks and product structures for diverse portfolios.
• Oversee the development, review, and sign-off of pricing models in line with governance standards.
• Drive re-pricing exercises to ensure continued profitability and technical accuracy.
• Collaborate on deal structuring, underwriting optimization, and capital modeling for new opportunities.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Monitor financial performance and product profitability, ensuring best-practice standards are upheld.
• Innovate and co-create bespoke client solutions that balance risk, return, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified or nearly qualified actuary (FASSA or equivalent international designation).
• Bachelor's or Honours degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Completion of F103 (or equivalent non-life insurance exam).
• 5-8+ years' experience in non-life/short-term insurance, with deep technical pricing expertise.
• Strong grasp of actuarial modeling, product structuring, and the SAM capital regime.
