Head Mixologist

Job Description


Duties:
Develop and update cocktail menus, incorporating classic recipes with innovative twists and seasonal ingredients.
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, hygiene standards, and compliance with safety regulations.
Train, supervise, and evaluate bar staff performance, ensuring they are knowledgeable about drinks and service standards.
Manage bar inventory, track stock levels, and order supplies to maintain optimal levels.
Ensure all cocktails and beverages are prepared and served according to established standards.
Provide excellent customer service, address guest needs, and create a positive bar experience.
Collaborate with management to develop strategies for maximizing beverage sales and achieving revenue targets.
Monitor beverage costs, minimize waste, and ensure inventory is managed effectively.
Ensure adherence to all public health guidelines, safety protocols, and food safety procedures.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 2 4 years as a Mixologist
Deep understanding of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
Meticulous attention to detail in cocktail preparation, inventory management, and overall bar operations.
Ability to address customer issues and resolve operational challenges effectively.
