Job Summary ? Head Chef | Luxury Hospitality Group | Cape Town ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef for a leading hospitality group in Cape Town. This is a live out role with salary DOE, perfect for someone who loves bold flavours, seasonal menus and delivering unforgettable dining experiences. The Head Chef will lead the full kitchen operation, drive menu development, mentor the team and ensure world class food quality. Strong financial awareness, hygiene compliance and stunning presentation standards are key. What the role includes o Leading and inspiring the kitchen team o Designing innovative, flavour driven seasonal menus o Ensuring consistent plating, portioning and taste o Guest engagement and dietary requirements o Stock control, cost management and kitchen budgets o HACCP, hygiene and equipment management o Staff training, scheduling and performance management Requirements o Formal culinary qualification o At least 5 years as a Head Chef in an upmarket restaurant o Strong knowledge of global cuisine and modern plating o Excellent leadership style and communication o Confident with menu engineering, budgeting and kitchen admin o Calm under pressure and passionate about sustainability
