A creative and dedicated professional who can thrive in a secluded environment, working closely with a small, close-knit team, is sought. The individual will be responsible for menu development, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene. The position requires a chef who understands the importance of sustainable and local sourcing, and who can adapt to the rhythms of life in a game reserve.
Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant culinary qualification
  • Previous experience in a Head Chef or similar senior role
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management, including inventory, budgeting, and team leadership
  • Creativity in menu development and presentation
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
