We are seeking enthusiastic, experience and reliable individual to join our harvest team as
Wine Harvest Assistant
for the upcoming vintage (January 2026 to May 2026 or mutually agreed upon). This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about wine production and have in practical experience in a winery environment. You will assist in various aspects of the winemaking process, from grape intake to fermentation management and general cellar operations.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving and processing harvested grapes (e.g., sorting, de-stemming, pressing). Perform fermentation monitoring, including temperature and Brix checks. Clean and sanitize winery equipment, tanks, and tools according to hygiene standards. Participate in pump-overs, punch-downs, and wine transfers as needed. Record data accurately and report anomalies to the winemaking team. Support with bottling, barrel work, and other cellar tasks as required. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc/ Diploma in winemaking or equivalent. Physically fit and capable of working outside during summer season Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable transportation to and from the winery. (Drivers licence essential) Previous harvest or cellar experience is required. * Passion for wine and interest in the winemaking process is highly desirable.
