The suitable candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment at the Animal Feed and Silo Plant.
Responsibilities:
- A good understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles
- The ability to assess problems and solutions and carry out preventive maintenance on an ongoing and effective basis
- The control of assets and resources
- Compliance with safety procedures, measures and standards
- The candidate is expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness in work areas and make a positive contribution to the overall efficiency of the plant.
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12 (Matric) is required
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
- A high level of reliability, dedication and the ability to work productively and independently are essential
