The purpose of this role will be to provide expert knowledge and guidance on IFRS-related. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with IFRS and maintaining accurate financial reporting standards, and working closely with various stakeholders to ensure financial statements adhere to IFRS principles.

IFRS Compliance
IFRS Technical Guidance
IFRS Research and Analysis
IFRS Policy Development
IFRS Training within the business
Internal and external collaboration
Financial Reporting Oversights
Regulatory Compliance

Education:
Qualified CA(SA), non-negotiable

Skills & Experience:
6 to 7 years' experience in a IFRS technical role, non-negotiable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
Proven experience in addressing complex accounting issues and providing technical guidance
Ability to research, analyze, and interpret accounting literature and regulatory pronouncements
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-experts
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience with financial statement preparation and review
Knowledge of relevant industry-specific accounting standards or regulations is a plus
Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
Someone who are prepared to work extended hours when need be
