Job Description


To coordinate day-to-day activities for the Facilities, Infrastructure and Engineering department and ensure accurate reporting for the function.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12. N6 Diploma qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
  • Computer literary, SAP and Kronos experience.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • In collaboration with Finance Managers, ensure the maintenance of the organizationxe2x80x99s Asset Registers.
  • Ensure the daily maintenance for all departments in portfolio and assist in the implementation and monitoring of the preventative maintenance programme for facilities and equipment for the Group.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of the electronic folder and the manual filing system.
  • Ensure the maintenance and control of technical documentation for hospitals in accordance to CHG standards and requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the repository or library for the Facilities, Infrastructure and Engineering department.
  • Ensure the maintenance (and review where possible) of the departmentxe2x80x99s datafiles, reports, procedure guides and policies.
  • Collect drawings, manuals and other documents to assist contractor and maintenance repairs or modifications.
  • Submit engineering drawings for any further required revisions or upgrades.
  • Coordinate plant shutdowns to attain all essential schedules.
  • Execute modification in maintenance records and key equipment with significant spares during setting apt reorder levels along with quantities.
  • Support departmentxe2x80x99s compliance to any Clinix Health group Sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Assist with engineering for spare parts preparation and PM Lists for new equipment.
  • Prioritise and complete job requests in an efficient and time conscious manner.
  • Ensure that invoices are checked and processed as per procedure.
  • Ensure requisitions for direct purchases are approved and submitted to the Finance Department for payment.
  • Provide administrative Support.
  • Attend meetings and ensure the accurate recording thereof.
  • Manage the Contractor maintenance system and ensure that all relevant documentation are up-to-date and per Engineering and Operations standards.
  • Assist the Head of Department by monitoring staff attendance, absenteeism, leave and allowance allocation according to Company HR standards and assist staff with any HR / payroll related queries.
