Job Description
The Cape Union Mart Group has a superb hybrid working opportunity for a talented Designer / Art director to join their in-house creative studio (within Marketing) in Cape Town. We are looking for a permanent Designer / Art Director to create digital and through-the-line communication and concepts for brands like Cape Union Mart, Poetry, Old Khaki, K-Way and our rewards programme.RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities
- Design work on premium brands, across elements ranging from social posts and marketing emailers to in-store posters, digital campaigns and more
- Brainstorm ideas and creative campaign concepts
- Must have 2 - 5 years of experience as a designer / art director in an advertising agency, design studio or digital agency
- Design, art direction or multimedia experience on fashion, outdoor or retail brands are an advantage
- Proficient in Adobe (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator)
- Proficiency in video editing / animation software (e.g. Adobe After Effects) and web or email design (e.g. Marketing Cloud) is an advantage
- Design portfolio with examples of your work
- Tertiary qualification in design, art direction or multimedia design
