Job Summary Matric; Trade Tested Wheat and/or Maize Milling; Milling & Equipment; ND Management/Eng./Production; Comp. Lit/MS Office/MS Project/Oracle; Risk/Loss Cntl; 10+ years exp grain milling Mngt/manufacturing mngt/project mngt/ quality/SHERQ. Responsible for co. long-range plans/overall performance of plant. Set clear vision/focus for Unit/ ensure vision understood at lowest level/identify Key Mnfc tasks of the Unit/implement plans to bring focus/ expertise/direction to tasks/Mnfc Excellence/lowering unit costs/improve Quality/service levels/manage working capital. Manage the interface between the operations of the Unit/functions of Service Departments/integrate/ coordinate functions/activities of various Departments at the Unit towards the goal/develop the potential of all the people of the Unit by using all available resources. Mngt production process to specification/set objectives/create work environment which promote Continuous Improvement/lead Unit by harnessing ideas on improvement/ identifying/correcting under performance/recognising excellent work/continually improve the availability/efficiency of the plant/identify production variances/take required corrective action to eliminate them.
