QUALITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN - ATLANTIS, Western Cape

R27 000 R33 000 Per Month depending on Qualification and Years of relevant experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALITY ACTIVITIES

• The use and understanding of the Audit Tool "QSYS Audit Module" for the complete evaluation, control of audit actions
• Provide key users with updates and train current users on the changes to QSYS.
• Provide plant assistance and problem solving for ALL plant users.
• Develop, compile and maintain Internal Product Audit procedure.
• Develop and track the audit plan requirements for each OEM and maintain the audit schedule to close out.
• Keep audit plan updated together with production forecast, with changes to new / existing products added.
• Audit processes should include, Product, Process, Systems and Customer audits. (All processes apply)
• Prepare and participate with annual CCC compliance audit and ensure adherence to ALL requirements.
• Formulate, maintain and control of the written Procedures and Customer Oriented Process
• Organizing and participating in Quality System Audits with Third Party Certification.
• Review processes on frequent intervals for optimization and improvements.
• Develop, implement and maintain Audit Schedule / Matrix
• Assist in the implementation of new quality systems.
• Provide Quality System support to Engineering, Production and Receiving Inspection, Material Control and DLN (Dual Launch Netting)
• Participate in analysing data gathered to establish trends, systemic failures and alike.
• Adherence and administration of budgetary requirements within the plant.
• Attend and participate in project, engineering as well as other required meetings.
• Use program to download drawings used for Product Audits, from Windchill 626 and apply access to it.
• Monthly reporting of Product, Process and Internal Audits in Plant QIP
• The development and use of Turtle Diagram, together with relevant audit processes.
• Attend to any enquiries relating to DQS External Audits for ALL systems and corrective action closeout.
• Maintain information relating to External Audit findings and Corrective Actions. (IATF16949)
• Gauge Control, Verification and Calibration and maintain Register of Equipment (Status to be checked monthly)
• Inhouse Verification Report & Risk Assessment on defect / rejected measurement and test equipment.
• SANAS certificates of Calibration Service Providers (verify that Calibration Service Providers Certificates are valid)
• Verification of Measurement System Capability, Attribute and Variable MSA Studies and Register (Minitab 17)
• Register and list of all capability studies that needs to be conducted. ("S" and "C" Characteristics)
• Creation / Revision of Business System Documents uploaded onto the Symbio
• Maintain Customer Specific Requirements, including Retrieval, Review and Monitoring.
• Drive and participate in the Management and Business Review for all compliance processes.

• Access CSR and Customer Standards, added to the list of recipients that receives notification for changes / updates.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

• Understand drawings and how to interpret their requirements.
• Evaluate Quality Systems in line with IATF 16949 standard.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Quality or Technical Degree | Diploma | related
• 4-7 Years Quality experience gained ideally within the Automotive parts Tier 1 field/ Components arena/ manufacturing arena
• SAP will be beneficial and / or related ERP manufacturing system working knowledge and experience
• Auditing, MSA & Capability Skills are required for daily activities
• Quality Assurance to IATF 16949 and / or ISO 9001
• Knowledge of Process Analysis, Auditing, Quality Statistics and Technical Drawing
• Strong and proven efficiency on MS Office
• Problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
• Be prepared to be flexible in working extended hours when required
