FINANCIAL MANAGER: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - ATLANTIS, Western Cape

R50 000 xe2x80x93 R70 000 Per Month depending on Qualification and Years of relevant experience

Global Automotive Manufacturing concern is offering this lucrative career opportunity within their dynamic Finance team.

You have the ability to lead a team and interact with other departments and external stakeholders effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the standard cost system in SAP
• Inventory forecasting and reporting deviations to forecast
• Material usage / price variance analysis
• Calculate and update annual standard cost changes re: labour, overheads and material costs
• New product cost updates
• Monthly material standard cost changes impacted by forex and/or inflation
• Inventory revaluation due to forex changes / price

• Month end financial closing
• Monthly journals processed
• Month-end closing, review and submissions to align with deadlines from Corporate
• Prepare sales and profit walk for review
• Sales, expense and profit deviations to forecasts
• Product profitability
• Freight cost management
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Capex monitoring and reporting
• Financial performance reporting and explaining deviations and corrective action

• Working capital management xe2x80x93 inventory, receivables, payables
• Treasury xe2x80x93 cash flow, forex, hedging
• Monthly P&L forecasts and annual budgets

• Internal controls
• Internal and external audits
• Automotive APDP program
• Financial info for BBBEE verification
• Tracking of business KPIxe2x80x99s

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Finance Degree: CA | CIMA | BCom | related
• 5 Years Financial Management experience gained ideally within the Automotive parts Tier 1 field/ Manufacturing/ Components arena
• Proven experience gained within a multi-national
• Experience gained in working with forex and hedging
• SAP and / or related ERP manufacturing system working knowledge and experience
• Strong and proven efficiency on MS Excel (data analysis and interpretation), MS Word and MS Outlook
• Be prepared to be flexible in working extended hours when required
