Manganese Metal Company ("MMC"), based in Mbombela (Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province), is the world's largest producer of 99.9% electrolytic manganese metal ("EMM"). The company has been in operation since 1974, has a unique global marketing network and is a niche market supplier of EMM to an established international customer base.
We supply more than 120 customers in over 20 countries and our systems, equipment, safe operating philosophy and excellent business practices provide our customers with peace of mind, first-class quality and reliable supply. Our products are used in the top-end of the market, in the aluminium, steel, non-ferrous alloys, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, chemicals and welding consumable industries.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE OPPORTUNITY

At MMC, the selected candidates will develop core skills and competencies in a rapidly paced discipline with extensive coaching by mentors with technical and plant specific training. MMC EXPECTATIONS
Candidates should:

• Provide own accommodation and transport for the entire duration of the training period.
• Be available and committed to the entire duration of the 24-month training period starting on the 1 October 2025 and comply with the conditions of the contractual agreement.
• Be available to work shifts.
• Abide by all MMC's policies and procedures and contribute towards the company goals and motto of creating strength during this period.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
You must have completed one of the following qualifications to be considered for the opportunity:

• Bachelor's Degree/BTech in Metallurgical Engineering
• Bachelor's Degree/BTech in Chemical Engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
