Job Description


Our client, a leading mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Grade Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will ensure effective grade control and maximum throughout in the Beneficiation Section which includes but not limited to:

  • Communication
  • Maintenance
  • Visual inspections and noise identifications
  • Beneficiation quality control processing
  • SHERQ adherence and compliance
  • Work Ethics
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12 with mathematics
  • Minimum of one (1) year operational Jig Plant or WHIMS experience
  • Minimum of three (3) year operational Plant experience
Knowledge, Skills & ComptenciesComputer Literacy -SCADA process (basic)Equipment knowledge- Working knowledge of jigs (Humbolt) and or WHIMS machinesStatutory knowledge- Working knowledge of MHSA Relevant COPs, VTSSHERQ- SHERQ standards and procedures; Mini risk assessments; ISO standardsTechnical knowledge - First line maintenance; Completed all relevant plant modules including beneficiation modules specified by training departmentsDiagnostic (Quality) - Equipment root cause analysis; Fault finding and problem solvingCommunicationPackage & RemunerationSalary: Market RelatedInterested?If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.
