An opportunity exists for an exceptional Piano Teacher (paid by parents) on a part-time basis to start as soon as possible at the Girls Prep School.
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
Teach individual Piano lessons to beginners and advanced pupils
Teach the international ABRSM /Trinity College London and exam syllabus from Grade 1 to Grade 6 level
Teach Music Theory
Teach lessons online should the need arise
Undertake administrative tasks, applicable to students
Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy
Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant music degree, licentiate or higher-level qualification in piano
• Minimum of 3 years' piano teaching
• Proficiency in another instrument would be advantageous
• SACE Registration

• A willingness to perform with ensemble groups within the department at special occasions
• Have an extensive knowledge of suitable repertoire and teaching methodologies
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Be a dynamic team player
• A willingness to support and mentor, and to be mentored
• Prepared to work according to the schools ethos, specification and policies
