About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Operations & Customer Service Executive to help scale our Operations team. This role is critical in making sure every customer order and customer contact is handled with speed, accuracy, and integrity. You'll be working across sourcing, data quality, and customer communication, ensuring customers get the right products at the right time.

For this role, you must speak German at a business proficiency level.
Key Responsibilities
Source products based on customer queries from a variety of verified suppliers.
Evaluate and validate supplier offers on price, delivery time, and reliability, then provide competitive quotes to customers.
Maintain accurate records of order status, pricing, and supplier communication.
Act as the first line of customer service -- updating customers on order status, changes, or exceptions.
Flag stock, pricing, or supplier issues for quick resolution or escalation.
Handle sensitive customer and supplier data securely, in line with company policies.
Support continuous improvement of our operations processes as we scale.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in customer service.
Proficiency in German at a business level.
Advantageous: experience in operations, procurement, order processing, or supply chain.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
High integrity, trustworthiness, and comfort handling customer data.
Problem-solving mindset and a self-starter attitude.
Bonus Points
Experience with eCommerce platforms, supplier portals, or procurement systems.
Experience working in a marketplace, industrial/long-tail B2B environment, or sectors like construction, agriculture, or automotive
Prior role in an early-stage startup with budget responsibility and autonomy
