General Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)- Cape TownJob Specification: General Manager in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in Cape TownWe are currently seeking for a highly experienced and qualified individual for the position of General Manager in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at our client facility in Cape Town. As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the pharmaceutical manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including those set by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA).Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the entire pharmaceutical manufacturing team.Develop and implement business strategies to drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, and maximize productivity.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, particularly those enforced SAHPRA.Oversee the production process, including procurement, manufacturing, quality control, and distribution.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive cost-effective solutions.Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.Requirements:A minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 10 years in senior management roles.A Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field is essential.In-depth knowledge of SAHPRA regulations and experience in ensuring compliance.Proven track record in successfully managing pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):SAHPRA experienceExperience:management in pharmaceutical production management: 10 years (Required)
