Product Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing - GautengProduct Manager - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing2023-09-22 - 2023-10-22PermanentPS010075Sales and MarketingGauteng, GautengMonthly Cost To Company (Market related, Negotiable)A well-known pharmaceutical raw material company requires the above to manage and drive sales and technology development from international principals supplying them with a range of speciality pharmaceutical raw material ingredients for various assigned product portfolios within the pharmaceutical markets.Minimum requirements for the role:A tertiary qualification in pharmaceutical or biochemistry or chemistry or related is preferred but is not essential for the role.Previous experience having worked as a product manager managing international principals within the pharma or related raw material industry supply pharmaceutical or related manufacturers is essential for the role.The company is also happy to consider an account manager who has worked within the pharma and related markets and is keen to move into a product management role.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Developing and managing international principals within the pharmaceutical raw material industry supplying pharma manufacturers with a range of speciality pharmaceutical raw material ingredients.Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with principals.Conducting customer visits with international suppliers.Regularly reviewing market trends and surveys and aligning principal products with key account strategies accordingly.Providing technical support on speciality raw material ingredients to customers alongside the sales team in order to grow customer confidence and customer relationships.Identifying and developing new products and agencies.Liaising and negotiating pricing, stock availability and sales with international suppliers.Driving a strategic plan ensuring that the key accounts sales team are able to supply the customers with the right products and that their expectations of products are met.Managing products traded on the international markets from various suppliers within the pharma and related markets.Attending principal technical training overseas when required to do so.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.For more information please contact:Vanessa LesterReturn
