Job Summary General Manager - Luxury Restaurant Group | Stellenbosch Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised General Manager to oversee three well-established restaurant outlets, with a fourth opening in the Northern Suburbs early next year. The existing outlets are located in Stellenbosch, the V&A Waterfront, and Sea Point. This role offers a salary of R40,000 per month, excluding incentives, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and the leadership ability to ensure operational consistency across multiple sites. Key Requirements o Strong culinary background; ideally a Head Chef seeking a transition into management o Proven managerial experience within a high-volume or high-standards hospitality environment o Excellent administrative abilities with strong organisational skills o High level of hygiene discipline o Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, lead, and motivate teams o Ability to plan ahead effectively and solve problems proactively o Solid stock control knowledge and systems understanding o Valid driving licence (manual) o Ability to cook confidently - the menu is simple but requires precision o Strong guest-service focus with commitment to delivering consistent quality About the Operation o The menu is small, stable, and intentionally unchanging o The business prioritises consistency over creativity o Success in this role requires discipline, structure, and strong operational oversight Candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to submit their CV
