Provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service
Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them
Create a budget to maximize profit margins while keeping costs in balance with guest satisfaction and quality of services
Lead sales and marketing efforts by developing a targeted strategy for publicizing the hotel's services and amenities
Establish the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting rooms, public areas, and the surrounding grounds for cleanliness and upkeep
This is not an office position and you will need to be hands on (Occasionally in rooms, at the frontdesk, reservations etc.)
Must be able to work shifts / weekends / public holidays
You will be required to have emails setup on your phone and this is to be monitored
Responsible for all hotel services/daily operations, such as guest relations, arrivals/departures, reservations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue management, expense/budget management, team building, and employee development
Maintenance management and knowledge
HR (Recruiting, salaries, staff contracts and documents)
Overseeing and improving all stock sheets
Implementing and updating current hotel systems to ensure smooth operations
PMS and reservations experience
Vast knowledge of OTAs (Booking.com, tour operators, etc.)
Maintaining or improving our ranking on Tripadvisor
Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and work accurately under pressure
Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical
Presentable and well spoken
People skills xe2x80x93 tolerance, patience, and care
Own transport
