Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily lodge operations, including front of house, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and guiding teams
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience aligned with 5-star standards
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Recruit, train, and manage lodge staff to maintain high performance and morale
- Maintain property standards and compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental practices
- Liaise with marketing, sales, and head office to drive occupancy and brand presence
- Engage with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly
- Minimum 5 years experience in senior lodge or luxury hospitality management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven financial acumen and experience with lodge budgets and reporting
- Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to a bush environment
- Relevant hospitality or management qualification preferred
- Knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and sustainable tourism is an advantage
