Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily lodge operations, including front of house, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and guiding teams
  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience aligned with 5-star standards
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Recruit, train, and manage lodge staff to maintain high performance and morale
  • Maintain property standards and compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental practices
  • Liaise with marketing, sales, and head office to drive occupancy and brand presence
  • Engage with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in senior lodge or luxury hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven financial acumen and experience with lodge budgets and reporting
  • Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to a bush environment
  • Relevant hospitality or management qualification preferred
  • Knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and sustainable tourism is an advantage
