JD Specialized Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced GAME FARM MANAGEMENT COUPLE to oversee a privately owned 30 000 hectare property in Zambia. Game Farm Manager Requirements xe2x9exa1xefxb8x8fConservation or Wildlife Management degree or diploma essential

• Previous exposure to release and monitoring of game, including the Big 5.
• Good maintenance skills as they will be responsible overseeing all property maintenance requirements e.g. Vehicles, boats, grader and tractor, waterholes, solar pumps, solar panels, fences and roads.
• Experience managing a small but effective anti-poaching team
• Management of a team of approximately 44 staff, plus payroll, employee records and distribution of food supplies.
• Stock control and procurement
• Compiling and updating of Asset register
• Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to xe2x80x9cmake a planxe2x80x9d in an extremely remote off the grid location.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, respectful and mindful of local culture, as will play a pivotal role with maintain the relationship with influential community leaders.
• Excellent leadership, administration, and delegation skills.
• Passionate about conservation and community development.

Partner Requirements

• Previous experience working with community development projects preferred.
• Strong social conscious and a passion for upliftment of community through a variety of projects including, building of secondary school, water management (boreholes) health care (supply of medication to 5 clinics), supply of seed and fertilizer, distribution of sanitary pads and overseeing sewing projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal respectfully with community members on all levels.
• A critical thinker who is empathetic, patient, who has excellent communication skills but is an active listener.
