Furniture Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Furniture Manufacturing Engineer needed to join a manufacturing company with a global client base.
Our client, who is a globally renowned manufacturing company in the automotive industry, is looking for a Furniture Design Specialist to join the team in their Upholstery department.
This role entails upholstery designing on CAD, pattern designing including nesting and research and detailing materials for the manufacturing of upholstery products. You will also be managing improvement projects to optimize productivity as well as managing technical documents such as Engineering Change Requests, and Bill of Materials.
Requirements:
National Diploma in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Furniture manufacturing and Upholstery
2 years working knowledge of SolidWorks
Experience with nesting software would be highly advantageous
