Furniture Hardware Stock Control Person
Job Description
Elmo's Furniture is a Furniture manufacture specializing in industrial design and hardwood furniture.
A stock control person is required who is responsible foe the following Duties.
Control of all furniture hardware i.e. ordering and controlling issues to the factory.
Coordinating with and contacting suppliers
Taking Stock and keeping of stock levels
The booking in if all stock i.e. hardware, wood and laser cut orders.
Answering of telephones
Loading of all stock onto the computer system
Learning to use the ACCESS System which is an inhouse stock control system
The successful person will have the following attributes
Minimum of Grade 12
A eye for detail and neatness
Dedication to the work
An enquiring mind
Does not tolerate mistakes
Has the necessary computer skills Microsoft Excell is a minimum requirement
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to get the job done
Ensuring all stock is up to date
Willingness to learn
Willing to work overtime if necessary
Pleasant demeaner
Must be Bilingual
Must be resident in Humansdorp/Jeffrey's Bay area or willing to relocate
Must be available for an interview
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R5500,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Humansdorp, Eastern Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
Stock Control: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
Bilingual (Preferred)
