Packhouse Manager - Western Cape
Our client a leader in the production and distribution of Soft Fruit farming requires a Packhouse Manager to oversee the of productivity, labour and quality processes of an intensive Packhouse.
This is a 24/7/365 intensive operation which requires the expertise of a manager with industry experience, who is organised and can perform in a pressurised environment.
The role entails:
Execution of pack plans in the most efficient and effective way. Communicate and drive production efficiencies according to budget and targe Ensure compliance of all Quality Food Standards and Health & Safety regulations. Ensure effective stock control practices to eliminate damage, wastage, stock discrepancies Staff Management, mentoring and training - Nurture a culture of cohesion, discipline and motivation Excellent communication between all stakeholders General Admin
Requirements:
Qualification & relevant industry experience 3-5 Years relevant experience in a packhouse Audits, Global Gap, BRC, HACCP etc. MS Office intermediate Drivers and own transport
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R35000,00 - R55000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
