The Front of House Manager will oversee all guest-facing operations, ensuring seamless service delivery from arrival to departure. You will manage the front office and guest services team, uphold service standards, and work closely with other departments to maintain the hotel's reputation for exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Deliver warm, professional, and personalised guest service at all times
Act as the primary point of contact for guest feedback, queries, and service recovery
Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes
Front of House Operations
Oversee daily reception and guest services operations
Manage reservations, guest profiles, and billing accuracy
Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings and local attractions
Liaise closely with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams
Team Leadership & Administration
Lead, train, and motivate the Front of House team
Manage duty rosters and staffing requirements
Uphold standard operating procedures and service standards
Complete front office reporting and administrative duties
Salary & Employment Details
R20 000 per month
Permanent, full-time position
Immediate start
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Front of House or Guest Services management role
Experience within a boutique or luxury hotel environment preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Highly guest-centric with strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Competent with hotel PMS systems and Microsoft Office
Well-presented and professional
Must be available to start immediately
Must have valid work rights in South Africa
