Hospitality Hire is partnering with a respected recruitment agency in the search for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a new signature restaurant opening in Cape Town in late 2025. This concept offers an immersive marine-inspired dining journey, showcasing the biodiversity and beauty of the Two Oceans.
The Role As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll take ownership of leading shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations, and guiding the team to deliver memorable dining experiences. You'll act as the vital link between the front and back of house, maintaining service standards and contributing to the success of this exciting new restaurant.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts effectively, supervising and motivating the F&B team
• Deliver and uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities based on team strengths and operational needs
• Oversee food preparation, order delivery, and overall dining room flow
• Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and address issues proactively
• Maintain clear communication between front and back of house teams
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of operating equipment and dining areas
• Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations

What You Bring

• Proven experience in Food & Beverage service within a high-paced environment
• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience in hospitality
• Ability to independently run a shift with confidence and professionalism
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Guest-focused mindset with a friendly, approachable personality
