Job Summary A leading Cape Town based food service distributor seeks the services of an experienced Despatch Supervisor Job Requirements/duties ~ o Assist the Logistics Manager in planning the daily despatch routes, loading activities & management of team. o Ensure invoices are correct & route sheets are allocated to the delivery route. o Ensure products are checked for deviations from quality standards such as labels, expiry dates, packaging. o Ensure all products are correctly weighed before loading. o Ensure that temperature controls for the dispatch area and all products to be loaded are adhered to. o Train new personnel in loading actions.
