Hospitality and Outdoor- Apply Today- Food and Beverage/Deputy General Manager Safari Hotel- Mpumalanga (Greater Kruger) The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall Food and Beverage Service, Restaurants, Bars, Banqueting and F&B Stores in the Lodge, and all special catering activities as directed by the General Manager. Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 Experience in a Food and Beverage Management position, in a medium to large size Hotel/Lodge-Essential
  • Experience in a Deputy GM role- Highly Beneficial
  • Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management (Advantageous)
  • Good understanding of all lodge operations
  • Knowledge of the highest level of F&B customer service in a luxury environment-Essential
  • Good knowledge of local, regional and international wines.
  • Sound overall beverage knowledge.
  • Maintain responsibility for service, sales, expenses and profit goals as directed and as outlined in the beverage plans and budgets, whilst promoting the company goals of guest service and satisfaction, team work, reporting requirements and financial performance.
  • Sound knowledge of food and cooking methods.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control.
  • Knowledge of planning, budgeting and departmental administration.
  • Valid driverxe2x80x99s License (Essential)
  • At this stage only RSA citizens will be considered
